一、课题

This is my sister.七年级上册

Unit 2 This is my sister. (Grammar Focus 3a-3c)

二、教学核心规则

在旧知基础上引出新知,在新知学习中融合旧知,温故而知新,举一而反三,达到事半功倍的教学目标。

三、学生背景分析

学生由小学迈入初中,水平参差不齐,英语水平薄弱的同学较多,基础扎实者较少。但是刚入初中,求知欲强大,好奇心强,敢于表现自己。这就需要老师在备课时要重基础,重鼓励,让学生在本节课上得到最大程度地巩固和提升。

在知识技能方面,通过第一课时的学习,学生已经了解了家庭成员的称呼以及会用Who’s he?或者Who’s she? 来询问家庭成员的称呼,这为这节课学习使用“this,that,these,those”来介绍家庭成员提供了有利条件。

四、教材分析

《This is my sister.》选自人教版七年级上册第二单元。本单元要求学生通过听、说、读、写学习各个家庭成员英语的表达,向彼此介绍自己的家庭成员,从而激发起学生对家人的热爱。

五、教学目标

知识与能力目标:了解掌握“this,that,these,those”的意思以及学会使用这四个指示代词介绍自己的家人。

道德与情感目标:通过学习介绍自己的家人,激发学生对家人的热爱以及在家庭中的责任感。

六、教学重点及难点

教学重点:复习并掌握家庭成员英文名称以及指示代词“this,that,these,those”的含义及用法。

教学难点:指示代词“this,that,these,those”后be动词的使用以及其后名词单复数的变化。

七、教学方法

情境教学法以及小组合作探究法。

八、教学流程

Step 1:Warming up

Show one picture of a finger pointing at an apple, two pears with a short distance and another picture of a finger pointing at a peach, three bananas with a long distance. Students can get the meaning of “this,that,these,those”directly and vividly.

Step 2:Presentation

Then show a picture of Xiao Xin’s family(from the famous Japanese cartoon).Let the students imagine that they are Xiao Xin himself and try to introduce his family to the class orally.

(Students may use “She’s my mother”and“He’s my father.”to introduce the people in the picture. It doesn’t matter. )

Step 3:Show some example sentences of the presentation in step 2.

Hello,my name is Xiao Xin. This is my family. These/Those are my parents. This is my mother. she's beautiful. That is my father. He’s handsome. Oh, that’s my dog, Xiao Bai. I Love it very much.

Ask the students to pay attention to the bold sentences and translate them into Chinese.

Step 4: Listen,read and practice.

  1. Listen to the tape and pay attention to the pronunciation and tones of the sentences in Grammar Focus.

  2. Read after the tape and try to translate each sentence and check the translations together.

  3. Finish activity 3a and 3b on page 9 according to Grammar Focus.

  4. Check the answers and ask the students to correct.

Step 5: Game & Recite (English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation.)(To recite the sentences in the green chart of Grammar Focus.)

Rules: If the teacher say English sentences, the class translate it into English and if the teacher say Chinese, the class translate it into English sentence.

Play the game for 5 minutes and check a line of the students to see whether they have remembered the ten sentences in the chart.

Step 6:Group work.

Discuss in groups and find out the correct form of “be”after “this,that, these, those”and then choose 3 groups to report the results to the class.

Step 7: Summary

Summarize the meaning of the four demonstrative pronouns and the form of “be”after them. Check whether we have achieve all the goals of this class.

Step 8:Homework

Bring a family photo to the class next class and introduce the family members in the photo to the class.

十、课后反思

本单元主要复习各个家庭成员英语的表述贴近生活生词较少,所以同学们学起来相对比较轻松。学生能掌握各个家庭成员的英文名称, 并且可以相互间询问和介绍彼此的家庭成员很时基本可以辨别什么时候用单数,什么时候用复数。通过对家庭成员的学习,学生对自己的家庭成员会有更清晰的印象,从而激发起他们对家入的热爱及对家庭的责任感。

课堂上小组讨论活动的运用既活跃了课堂氛围,又提高了学生各方面的学习能力.让学生带家庭照片,不仅使教学贴近了学生实际的生活,拉近了学生与学生之间、老师与学生之间的关系,而且使学生在真实的语言环境中学习,激发 了他们学英语的兴趣。在小组活动中,老师加以适当的引导,使每位学生都参与到其中,由成绩优异的同学带动其他成员!不仅提高了课效率,而且达到了使学生均衡发展的目标。

一节好的英语课离不开情感教育。本节课中,我在同学们熟练掌握知识的基础上,由家庭这个词的含义入手,结合小新的一家,从简单知识的传授到情感与道德的教育,在这一过程中,使英语课学习的意义得到了升华.我想教育的本身除了知识,更重要的是要敎育孩子们如何做人,如何做对家庭,对社会都有所贡献的人。课上,同学们用简单的英语句子,由衷的表达着自己对父母的热爱,我被同学们对家人的爱感动着,这是一节温暖的英语课。

运用多媒体等教学手段会使得英语课更为直观与灵活,激发同学们学习的热情。希望在以后的教学中,可以更多的运用多媒体,使其更好的为教学服务,
