简介:TwelvespeciesofcrustaceanfromFujiancoastwereexaminedforlectinswithdifferentanimalerythrocytes.Serumextractsfromallof12speciesshowedagglutinatingactivityagainstatleasttwotypesoftheerythrocytesused,whichrevealedtheexistenceoflectinsinthesespecies.Therewerefivespecies(Penaeusjaponicus,Lophosquillacostata,Charybdisferiatus,Portunuspelagicus,Scyllaserrata)whoseserumscouldagglutinatealltheerythrocytestested.Thelowestserumproteinconcentrationrequiredtoproduceerythrocytesagglutinationvariedremarkably,rangingfrom0.7μg/mLto8080μg/mL.ThestrongestactivitywasshownintheagglutinationofrabbiterythrocytebyserumofPenaeusvanaminas.Inhibitionassaysperformedwithsevenmono-andbisaccharidesshowedthatagglutinationofquailerythrocytesbyserumsofthreespecies(Portunuspelagicus,ScyllaserrataandSesarmasp.)werenotinhibitedbyanysugars,whileotherswereinhibitedbyatleastthreetypesofsugars.TheassayoftemperatureinfluenceonagglutinatingactivityshowedthatonlyPenaeusjaponicusretainedactivitywhentheserumwasheatedto90℃,andotherserumslosttheiractivityat40℃,50℃,60℃,70℃,80℃for10minutes,respectively.

简介:OutgoingLongwaveRadiation(OLR)hasbeenshowntoplayanimportantroleinclimaticdiagnosisandlong-termpredictionandresearch.WiththeOLRdata1974~1997asobservedbysatellites,thecharacteristicsarecomputed.TheresultsareusedtodepictthelocationandintensityofthesubtropicalhighinthestudyoftherelationshipbetweentheannualfrequencyoftropicalcyclonesaffectingtheFujianprovinceandITCZ/subtropicalhigh.Itisshownthatinyearsoffewer(more)tropicalcyclones,theITCZissouthward(northward)locatedwithweaker(stronger)intensity,andthesubtropicalhighissouthward(northward).AsshownintherelationshipbetweentheanomalousyearsoftropicalcyclonesandcharacteristicsofprecedingOLRfields,theOLRanomaliesarejustoppositelydistributedinthePacificOceanforyearsofmore(fewer)tropicalcyclones.Inotherwords,theyearsoffewer(more)tropicalcyclonesareassociatedwithpositiveanomaliesofOLRinthetropicalwestPacificbutnegative(positive)anomaliesintheequatorialcentralandeasternPacific.Itishopedthatourstudybesettingfoundationforshort-termclimatologicalpredictionoftropicalcyclones.

简介:Thecomposition,assemblageanddistributioncharacteristicsofheavymineralsfrom63to125μmgrainsizesinsurfacesedimentfromtheXinghuaBay(17stations)arestudied.Themattersourceofsiltandtherelationshipbetweenheavymineralsandsedimentaryenvironmentarealsodiscussed.Theresultsshowthatthereare37kindsofheavymineralsandtheaveragecontentofthemis12.08%,whichexceeds6%comparedwiththeMeizhouBay(5.67%).Thedominantmineralsaremagnetite,hornblende,epidote,ilmenite,hematite,limonite,zirconandsoon.MineralkindsrevealthatthesourcesofsiltinthisbayarethefluvialinputanderodedproductsofbedrockincircumjacentlandandislandsoftheXinghuaBay.However,themattersourcefromoutsidethisbayisless.FourmineralassemblagezonescanbedividedbasedonheavymineralcontentsanddistributioncharacteristicsintheXinghuaBay,whicharenotonlyinfluencedbymattersource,butalsocontrolledbyhydrodynamicconditionandsedimentaryenvironmentintheXinghuaBay.
