摘要
TheMinistryofEducationrecentlyannouncedthataseriesofreformsonEnglisheducationwouldcomesoon.Theso-calledreformisactuallyadramaticcutonEnglisheducation,whichintendstominimizetheroleofEnglishinalllevelsofeducation.Suchareformundoubtedlycausedanearthquakeintheeducationcircle,involvingschoolsfromkindergartentocollege,teachers,studentsandparents.SomepeopleclaptheirhandsforthecomedownofEnglish,whilemanyothersbecomeworriedaboutthefutureofournation.ThisthesisdiscussestheprosandconsofthereformonEnglisheducation,andgivescommentsandsuggestionsontheEnglisheducationpolicy.
