  • 简介:ThequestionwhethertherehavebeenQuaternaryglaciationsintheDaHingganareahaspuzzledglacialgeologistsformanyyearsbecausenosufficientglacialevidencehasbeenfoundinthisarea.ThestudyofQuaternaryglaciersintheDaHingganareaisalsoakeyissueoftheglaciologyinChinabecauseofthespeciallocationofthisarea.Inthepasttwoyears,alargenumberofcompleteandtypicalglacialvestigeshavebeenfoundinHexigteninthesouthernDaHingganMountains,suchasfossilcirquegroups,horns,knife-edgecrests,terminalmoraines,glacialsteppedstones.Theselandformsarelocatedatawatershed,whicharethusimpossibletobeformedduetotectonicprocesses,waterorweathering,butcanonlybeformedbyglaciation.ThecalculatedflatindexesofthefossilcirquesintheHexigtenare1.7-4.5,4-5and1.3-5,whicharewithintherangeof1.7-5thatistheflatindexofrealcirques.Thetypicalandcompletemoraineshavealsobeenfoundinthisarea.AlltheseglacialvestigesprovethattheQuaternaryglaciersdidexistintheDaHingganMountainsofeasternChina.Thus,itisofimportantscientificsignificancefortheresearchonChinese,eventheglobalclimaticandenvironmentalevolutionsincetheQuaternary.

  • 简介:ThereareobviousdifferencesinthemineralassemblageandmetamorphicP-TconditionsbetweentheeclogitesfromthenorthernandsouthernpartsoftheeasternDabieMountains.ThosefromthenorthernpartofthemountainsaredevelopedinAlpineperidotiteandgneiss.Theyhaveamineralassemblageofgarnet+diopsidewithnoquartz,andwereformedattemperaturesof600℃-740℃.Thosefromthesouthernpartaredevelopedingneissandmarble.Theyconsistofgarnet+omphacite+lessquartzandweremetamorphosedattemperaturesintherangeof650°-800℃.Thesedifferencessuggestthattheformermaybeformedduringthemetamorphismofthedeepsubductedoceaniccrust,whereasthelattermaybegeneticallyrelatedtothesubductionofthecontinentalcrustinthisarea.

  • 简介:TherearefourtypesofmetamorphicrocksintheMarinwobofault,i.e,cataclasite,mylonite,mictositeandmigmatiticgranite,andtheformationoftheserocksisduetotheprogressivemetamorphismofthepyroclastics.ThefluidsplayaveryimportantroleinthemetamorphicprocessoftheserocksintheMarinwobofault,themostimportantfeatureisthatthefluidsnotonlyresultinthemigrationofthemajorelementsofthedeformationrocks,butalsoresultinthevolumelossofthedeformationrocksinthedeformationprocess.Thusthemigrationlawsofthemajorelementsindifferentstagesoftheprogressivemetamorphicprocessarediscussedaccordingtomassbalanceequations.Finally,thequantitativeanalysisofthemasslossandvolumelossofthedifferentrockstheinMarinwobofaultisdiscussedinthispaper.

  • 简介:ThetectonicactivitiesoccurringsincetheCenozoicinthenorthernpartoftheQinghai-TibetPlateau(theregionfromtheEastKunlunMountainstotheTanggulaMountains)wereprobablycausedbytheintenseintraplatedeformationpropagationafterthecollisionbe-tweentheIndianplateandtheEurasianplate.Theirmainexpressionsincludethesubstantialup-liftingoftheplateau,alternationofhorizontalextensionandcompressionundertheverticalgreatestprincipalstressσ1,occurrenceofrift-typevolcanicactivity,formationofthebasin-rangesystem,andsuccessiveeastwardextrusionofblocksresultingfromlarge-scalestrike-slipfaulting.Geophysicalexplorationandexperimentshaverevealedthatthereexistclose-lyalternatinghorizontalhigh-velocityandlow-velocitylayersaswellaslithosphericfaultsofaleft-lateralstrike-slipsenseinthelowerpartofthelithosphere(thelowercrustandlithosphericmantle,60-120kmdeep).Basedonanintegratedstudyofthegeological-geophysicaldataavail-able,theauthorshaveproposedamodelofdeep-seatedmantlediapirandtheassociatedtectonophysicalprocessasthedynamicsourcefortheupliftofthenorthernpartoftheQinghai-TibetPlateau.

  • 简介:TheTan-LufaultzonejoinstheDabieMountainsonitseasternmargin,andoffsetstheDabieandSuluorogenicbeltssinistrallyforabout500km.Onthebasisofcalculationoftemperatureandpressureexperiencedbythetwophasesofthefaultzoneaswellasthethermo-chronologicalinformationonmylonitefromtheearlierandlaterTan-LufaultzonesontheeasternmarginoftheDabieMountains,thispaperdiscussesthedelaminationhistoryandupliftingmagnitudesoftheDabieMountainsfromearlierJurassictoearlierCretaceous.Frommineralassemblages,mineraldeformationandmuscovite-chloritegeothermometrycalculation,itisknownthatthetemperatureexperiencedbythetwophasesofTan-Lufaultzonesarebetween400℃and450℃,andtheconfiningpressuresarebetween0.25Gpaand0.36GPafortheearliershearzonesand0.24-0.39GPaforthelateshearzones.AccordingtothegeobarometryofSi-in-phengiteandbyconsideringshearheatingandtectonicover-pressure,itisconcludedthatthemaximumformationdepthsforthetwophasesoftheductileshearzonesarenotmorethan12km.Differentialformationdepthsforthetwophasesofshearzonesare1-2kmatmost.Atabout190Maand128Ma,theTan-Lufaultzoneexperiencedtwophasesofcoolingevents.Duringthisperiod,theeasternmarginoftheDabieMountainsexperiencedatectoniccalmperiodandnouplifting.AccordingtoinformationfromtheTan-Lufaultzone,theupliftingmagnitudesoftheDabieorogenicbeltsarenotmorethan12kmduringtheearlierCretaceous.
