Statistical Analysis of Tectonic Environment for Strong Earthquakes in China's Continent

AstatisticalanalysisoftectonicenvironmentforM≥6.0strongearthquakesinChina'scontinentsincethebeginningofrecordedhistoryisperformedbasedonthedataofactivefaultsstudiedduringlast10yearsandresultofcompilationofthefourthversionoftheMapofSeismicRegionalizationofChinaforEarthquakeProtection.Tectonictypesofseismicsourcesofstrongearthquakesinallseismicregionsandthemovementmodesofseismogenicstructuresarediscussed.Meanwhile,ananalysisoflengthsofsurfacerupturezonesproducedbyalltypesofearthquakes,orientationsoflongaxesofmeizoseismalareas,regionaltectonicstressfieldsinseismicsourceregionsforstrongearthquakes,geophysicalfields(gravityanomaly,highconductivitylayeranomaly,andterrestrialheatflowdensity),andrecentverticalcrustaldeformationfieldshavebeencarriedout.
