简介:Theanalyticalmethodoftotalresourcereallocationeffectisanevolutionoftheanalyticalmethodofthefactorsofeconomicgrowth.SincethemarketizationreforminChinain1978,marketmechanismhasplayedamoreandmoreimportantroleinresourceallocation,andChineseeconomyhasdevelopedgreatly,whichiscalled'theChineseMiracle'.ThispaperanalyzestheeconomicgrowthinChinafrom1978to2004withtheanalyticalmethodoftotalresourcereallocationeffect.Theresultshowsthattheannualgrowthrateoftotalresourcereallocationeffectwas0.2%,whichwas5.1%ofthecomprehensiveproductivityand0.21%ofthegrossoutputgrowth,i.e.thetotalresourceallocationplayedaweakroleintheeconomicgrowthinChina.WhenanalyzingitinChenery'smultinationalmodel,wefindthatChinesecomprehensiveproductivitygrowthratewashigherthanthatinalltheincomephasesofthemodel,butthetotalresourceallocationeffectwasobviouslylowerthanthatinalltheincomephasesofthemodel.ItindicatesthatthetotalresourceallocationinChinahasagreatpotential,andthattoacceleratemarketizationreformisoneoftheimportantissuesforChineseeconomicdevelopment.
简介:ThepaperpresentsandexaminestheimpactofdollarizationongrowthanddevelopmentofemergingeconomieswithspecificreferencetoZimbabwe’sexperienceintheperiod,2009-2018.Theresearchstudyexploresthetheoreticalandempiricalevidencedrawnfromcountriesoftheworldthatdollarizedforvariouseconomicreasons.Thestudyusedadescriptivesurveydesigntoanalysetheresearchdatadrawnfromthefieldontheimpactofdollarizationoneconomicgrowthanddevelopmentprospectsofdollarizedemergingeconomies.Itwasfoundoutthatdollarizationwasessentialinreducinghighinflationandunemploymentratestoacceptablelevels,increasedaggregatesupplyanddemand,thegrossdomesticproduct(GDP),andlivingstandardsofthecitizensofdevelopingnations.Thestudyconcludedthatdollarizationcontributedsignificantlytothegrowthanddevelopmentofmostemergingeconomiesoftheworld.ItwasthereforerecommendedthatemergingeconomiessuchasZimbabweshouldrationallyandeffectivelydollarizeintheirdesiretoattainallthemillenniumdevelopmentgoals(MDGs),anddrivetowardseliminationofdependenceonrichnations,self-reliance,andsustainabledevelopment.
