简介:Asingle-axisfluxdecaymodelincludinganexcitationcontrolmodelproposedin[12,14,16]isstudied.AsthebifurcationparameterPm(inputpowertothegenerator)varies,thesystemexhibitsdynamicsemergingfromstaticanddynamicbifurcationswhichlinkwithsystemcollapse.Weshowthattheequilibriumpointofthesystemundergoesthreebifurcations:onesaddle-nodebifurcationandtwoHopfbifurcations.Thestatevariablesdominatingsystemcollapsearedifferentfordifferentcriticalpoints,andtheexcitativecontrolmayplayanimportantroleindelayingsystemfromcollapsing.Simulationsarepresentedtoillustratethedynamicalbehaviorassociatedwiththepowersystemstabilityandcollapse.Moreover,bycomputingthelocalquadraticapproximationofthe5-dimensionalstablemanifoldatanorder5saddlepoint,ananalyticalexpressionfortheapproximatestabilityboundaryisworkedout.
