  • 简介:Ultrapureferriticstainlesssteelisakindofnewstainlesssteelgradewithhighqualitydevelopedinthemid-twentiethcentury,itischaracterizedbyultralowCarbonandNitrogencontentandmicro-alloyingwithTi,Nb,V,Cuetc.,soitovercomesalotofuseshortcomingsoftheordinaryferriticstainlesssteel,suchasintergranularcorrosionsensitivity,lowductilityandtoughnessunderatmospheretemperature,crackincliningattheweldzoneetc.,namely,ithasbetterperformancethantheordinaryferriticstainlesssteelintheaspectofcorrosionresistance,toughnessandweldabilityetc.Furthermore,aseriesofsecondaryrefiningequipmentsandtechnologieshavebeeninventedfromthe1960s,loworultralowCarbonandNitrogencontentinthemoltenstainlesssteelcanbeobtainedduringmanufacturingproduction.Therefore,suchsteelhasbeenappliedinmanyfields,leadingtotheveryrapiddevelopmentoverthepasthalfcentury.Thispaperfocusesonthesecondaryrefiningprocesswhichisthemostimportantstepofthewholesteel-makingprocessfortheultrapureferriticstainless.Firstly,somedifficultiesofthesecondaryrefiningprocessaredescribed,includingthehighpurificationintermsofbothCarbonandNitrogencontents,highefficientandstablecontrol.Secondly,thedevelopmentandprogressofthesecondaryrefiningtechnologyforultrapureferriticstainlessisintroducedintermsoftherefiningequipments,metallurgicalprocessandassistanttechnologies.SomemostfamoussecondaryrefiningequipmentsandmetallurgicaltechnologiesforultrapureferriticstainlesssteelhadbeeninventedmainlybyJapanandEuropeancompaniesfrom1960sto1990s,suchasVOD,SS-VOD,AOD-VCR,VOD-PBetc..Duringthesametimeofwideapplicationofthesesecondaryrefiningequipmentsandtechnologies,inordertostrengthenthefunctionandcapacityoftheserefiningequipments,someadvancedassistanttechnologieswerealsointroducedandapplied,whichconsistsoftoplance,specialrawmaterials,ladlerefracto

  • 简介:Byanalyzingthethermalandburdenstructureconditionsinsidethemelter-gasifierofCOREXprocess,theadvantageanddisadvantageofPCIintothemelter-gasifierareclarified.TheinfluenceofPCIontherunningconditioninsidethefurnaceisanalyzedbasedontheinformationfromproductionoperationandmathematicalandphysicalsimulations,andmeasurestotacklewiththeproblemsarisingfromPCIareproposed.Themainresultsareasfollows.①Duetotheunfavorableconditionsforcokingofcoalinthemelter-gasifier,cokingofchargedlumpycoaltogetsemicokewithgoodsizeandstrengthcanhardlybeexpected.Tomaintainthepermeabilityoftheburdencolumn,apackedbedsimilartoblastfurnaceisnecessary.Therefore,alittlemorecokewithPCIinplaceofmostofthelumpycoalmayimprovetherunningofthereactor.Thiscanalsomakethelumpycoalselectioneasier.②Overallheatbalanceanalysisofthemelter-gasifiershowsthatPCIhasnoeffectonthethermalconditionofthefurnaceasawhole.Localheatbalanceanalysis,however,showsthattheheathofthemelter-gasifierisinacriticalstateoflowheatsupply.PCIintothehearthwilldeterioratethethermalcondition.ToavoidthecoolingofthehearthzonebyPCI,moreoxygencanbeblowntothehearthzone,i.e.increasetheoxygensupplytothehearthanddecreaseaccordinglytheoxygensupplytothefreeboard.Moreoxygensupplytothehearthseemstobringouttheissueofanincreaseinfuelrateand/ortherebythesmeltingintensity.DetailedanalysisofthephysicalchemicalprocessesconcludedthatPCIwithmorecorrespondingoxygensupplywillnotleadtotheincreaseoffuelrate.③Comparingwithblastfurnace,theracewayvolumeofCOREXmelter-gasifierisaboutonly1/10~1/5ofthatofcorresponding-sizeblastfurnace.ThissmallracewayisnotfavorableforPCI.ToenlargetheracewaytogetmorefavorableconditionforPCI,lesstuyereswithmoreoxygensupplyofeachtuyereisproposed.④Comparingwithlumpycoalfeedingintot

  • 简介:Thedistributionofreducinggasinashaftfurnacedominatesthetemperatureprofile,gasutilizationratio,metallizationdegreeandistheoverwhelmingfactorforstable,highproductivitiesandlow-energy-consumptionoperation.Atthesametime,thedistributionofgasflowismainlydeterminedbythepositionofgasinlet,thepackedbedporositydistributionaswellasitschangeduetothedifferenceonthemodeoftopchargeandbottomdischarge.Wheninjectingpositionoftheprocessisfixed,thechargemodeistheonlymeansforregulatingthegasflowdistribution.Inthispaper,anumericalsimulationmodelofburdendistributionintheshaftfurnaceofCOREX3000hasbeendevelopedtoanalyzetheporositydistributionunderthedifferentchargemodesbymeansofDiscreteElementMethod(DEM).Theeffectsoftheparticlesizeanditsdistributionunderconditionsofdifferentchargebatches,chuteangle,stokelineontheburdensurfaceshapeandburdenbedparticlesizedistributionandsegregationwereinvestigated,andthentheporositydistributionintheshaftofcorrespondingchargingpatternwasquantitativelyaccessed.Therefore,theresultscanbeusedtooptimizethechargepatternsbaseonrequiredgasdistribution.
