简介:Inordertoavoidtheinfluenceofnoisevarianceonthefilteringperformances,amodifiedadaptiveweightedaveraging(MAWA)filteringalgorithmisproposedfornoisyimagesequences.Baseduponadaptiveweightedaveragingpixelvaluesinconsecutiveframes,thisalgorithmachievesthefilteringgoalbyassigningsmallerweightstothepixelswithinappropriateestimatedmotiontrajectoryfornoise.Itonlyutilizestheintensityofpixelstosuppressnoiseandaccordinglyisindependentofnoisevariance.Toevaluatetheperformanceoftheproposedfilteringalgorithm,itsmeansquareerrorandpercentageofpreservededgepointswerecomparedwiththoseoftraditionaladaptiveweightedaveragingandnon-adaptivemeanfilteringalgorithmsunderdifferentnoisevariances.RelevantresultsshowthattheMAWAfilteringalgorithmcanpreserveimagestructuresandedgesundermotionafterattenuatingnoise,andthusmaybeusedinimagesequencefiltering.
简介:Amodifiedsuctioncaisson(MSC),whichwasreportedbytheauthorsofthispaperpreviously,comprisesanexternalshort-skirtedstructurethatisaddedtoaregularsuctioncaisson(RSC).IthasbeenprovedthatMSCscanimprovethelateralbearingcapacityandlimitthedeflectionofthecaissoncomparedwithRSCs.AseriesofmodeltestswereconductedtoinvestigateresponsesofMSCssubjecttoupliftloadinginsaturatedsand.TheeffectsofexternalskirtdimensionsontheupliftbearingcapacityofMSCswereconsidered.Inaddition,theinfluencesofthesealedtoplidoftheskirtedstructureontheupliftbearingcapacityandtheresultingpassivesuctionofMSCswerealsostudied.ItwasfoundthattheupliftbearingcapacitiesofMSCsare1.4-1.7timesthatofRSCs.Moreover,testresultsinserviceableconditionsshowthatthesealedexternalskirtedstructureofperspex-madesuctioncaissonssignificantlycontributedtotheupliftbearingcapacityasaresultofpassivesuction.

简介:AmodifiedLindstedt-Poincaré(LP)methodforobtainingtheresonanceperiodicsolutionsofnonlinearnon-autonomousvibrationsystemsisproposedinthispaper.Inthemodifiedmethod,nonlinearnon-autonomousequationsareconvertedintoagroupoflinearordinarydifferentialequationsbyintroducingasetofsimpletransformations.Anapproximateresonancesolutionfortheoriginalequationcanthenbeobtained.Theperiodicsolutionsofprimary,super-harmonic,sub-harmonic,zero-frequencyandcombinationresonancescanbesolvedeffectivelyusingthemodifiedmethod.Someexamples,suchasdampedcubicnonlinearsystemsundersingleanddoublefrequencyexcitation,anddampedquadraticnonlinearsystemsunderdoublefrequencyexcitation,aregiventoillustrateitsconvenienceandeffectiveness.UsingthemodifiedLPmethod,thefirst-orderapproximatesolutionsforeachequationareobtained.Bycomparison,themodifiedmethodproposedinthispaperproducesthesameresultsasthemethodofmultiplescales.
