简介:Top-downcrackinasphaltpavementshasbeenreportedasawidespreadmodeoffailure.Asolidunderstandingofthemechanismsofcrackgrowthisessentialtopredictpavementperformanceinthecontextofthicknessdesign,aswellasinthedesignandoptimizationofmixtures.UsingthecoupledelementfreeGalerkin(EFG)andfiniteelement(FE)method,top-downcrackpropagationinasphaltpavementsisnumericallysimulatedonthebasisoffracturemechanics.Aparametricstudyisconductedtoisolatetheeffectsofoverlaythicknessandstiffness,basethicknessandstiffnessontop-downcrackpropagationinasphaltpavements.Theresultsshowthatlongitudinalwheelloadsaredisadvantageoustotop-downcrackbecauseitincreasesthecompoundstressintensityfactor(SIF)atthetipoftop-downcrackandshortensthecrackpath,andthusthefatiguelifedescends.TheSIFexperiencesaprocess'sharplyascending—slowlydescending—slowlyascending—sharplyascendingagain'withthecrackpropagating.Thethickertheoverlayorthebase,thelowertheSIF;thegreatertheoverlaystiffness,thehighertheSIF.Thecrackpathishardlyaffectedbystiffnessoftheoverlayandbase.
简介:Inthecontextoftopcolor-assistedtechnicolor(TC2)model,westudythechargedandneutraltop-pionsproductionprocessγγ→W~+П_t~-П_t~0.Wefindthattheproductioncrosssectionislargerthanthatoftheprocessγγ→W~+H~-Hintheminimalsupersymmetricstandardmodel.WithreasonablevaluesoftheparametersintheTC2model,thecrosssectioncanreachthelevelofafewfb.Furthermore,theflavor-changing(FC)decaymodeП_t~0→tcisthebestchanneltodetecttheneutraltop-pionduetothecleanSMbackground.Withalargenumberofeventsandthecleanbackground,theneutraltop-pionshouldbeobservableatfuturelinearcollidersoperatinginγγmodeattheTeVenergyscale.

简介:Strongnonlinear,electro-optical,andthermo-opticalpropertiesoflithiumniobate(LN)havegainedmuchattention.However,theimplementationofLiNbO3inrealdevicesisnotatrivialtaskduetodifficultiesinmanufacturingandhandlingthin-filmLN.Inthisstudy,weinvestigateanopticaldevicewheretheBlochsurfacewave(BSW)propagatesonthethin-filmLNtounlockitsproperties.First,accesstotheLNfilmfromair(oropenspace)isimportanttoexploititsproperties.Second,forsustainingtheBSW,one-dimensionalphotoniccrystal(1DPhC)isnecessarytobefabricatedunderthethin-filmLN.Weconsidertwomaterialplatformstorealizesuchadevice:bulkLNandcommercialthin-filmLN.Clearreflectancedipsobservedinfar-fieldmeasurementsdemonstratethepropagationofBSWsontopoftheLNsurfaceofthedesigned1DPhCs.
简介:Thetop-pairproductioninassociationwithaZ~0-bosonataphoton-photoncolliderisanimportantprocessinprobingthecouplingbetweentop-quarksandvectorbosonanddiscoveringthesignatureofpossiblenewphysics.WedescribetheimpactofthecompletesupersymmetricQCD(SQCD)next-to-leadingorder(NLO)radiativecorrectionsonthisprocessatapolarizedorunpolarizedphotoncollider,andmakeacomparisonbetweentheeffectsoftheSQCDandthestandardmodel(SM)QCD.Weinvestigatethedependenceofthelowest-order(LO)andQCDNLOcorrectedcrosssectionsinboththeSMandminimalsupersymmetricstandardmodel(MSSM)oncollidingenergys~(1/2)indifferentpolarizedphotoncollisionmodes.TheLO,SMNLO,andSQCDNLOcorrecteddistributionsoftheinvariantmassoftt-pairandthetransversemomentaoffinalZ~0-bosonarepresented.OurnumericalresultsshowthatthepureSQCDeffectsinγγ→ttZ~0processcanbemoresignificantinthe++polarizedphotoncollisionmodethaninothercollisionmodes,andtherelativeSQCDradiativecorrectioninunpolarizedphotoncollisionmodevariesfrom32.09%to-1.89%whens~(1/2)goesupfrom500GeVto1.5TeV.
简介:Wehavefabricatedatop-emittingorganiclight-emittingdeviceonsiliconsubstratewithhighyellowluminancebasedon5,6,11,12-tetraphenylnaphthacenesub-monolayer.Itconsistsofathinlayerofhighlyconductivesilverasthesemitransparentcathodeandsurfaced-modifiedAgastheanode.Thedeviceturnsonat3Vwiththeluminanceof8.4cd/m^2.Themaximumcurrentefficiencyis1.3cd/Aat6Vandtheluminancereaches14790cd/m^2at14V.Theperformanceofthedeviceisexcellentintop-emittingorganiclight-emittingdevicesaccordingtoourknowledge.
