  • 简介:Tostudythemechanicalpropertiesofthefilm/substratestructure,thefiniteelementcodeABAQUSv6.9-1isadoptedtosimulatethetensilemechanicalbehaviorofthenanoscalethinfilmbondedtoasubstrate.Thebifurcationphenomenonofthestructureunderuniaxialtensionisfound:thesingle-neckdeformation,themultiple-neckdeformationandtheuniformdeformation.Thesubstrateandthefilmareregardedaspower-hardeningmaterialsobeyingtheJ2deformationtheory.Firstly,theinfluenceofmaterialhardeningmatchontensilebifurcationmodeisanalyzedunderperfectlywell-bondedinterfacecondition.Then,theeffectsofinterfacialstiffnessandothersuperficialdefectssurroundingtheimperfectiononbifurcationmodeareinvestigated.Itisconcludedthatunderthewell-bondedinterfacecondition,ifthestressofthesubstrateislargerthanthefilm,thefilmwilluniformlydeformwiththesubstrate;ifthestressofthesubstrateissmallerthanthefilm,thefilmwillformasingleneck,exceptthecasethataweakly-hardeningfilmisbondedtoasteeply-hardeningsubstratewhenmultipleneckscanbeformed.Withthedecreaseofinterfacialstiffness,theuniformdeformationmodecantransformintothemultiple-neckdeformationmode,andfurthertransformintothesingle-neckdeformationmode.Andotherdefectssurroundingtheimperfectioncaninfluencethewavelengthofdeformationandnecknumber.
