Syllogisticfuzzyreasoningisintroducedintofuzzysystem,andthenewCascadedFuzzySystem(CFS)ispresented.ThethoroughlytheoreticalanalysisandexperimentalresultsshowthatsyllogisticfuzzyreasoningismorerobustthanallotherimplicationinferencesfornoisedataandthatCFShasbetterrobustnessthanconventionalfuzzysystems,whichprovidethesolidfoundationforCFS'spotentialapplicationinfuzzycontrolandmodelingandsoon.
