Inthispaper,thecharacteristicsofdensitycurrentundertheactionofwavesaredescribedwiththehelpofflumeexperimentandtheoreticalanalysis.Thestudyshowsthatturbidwaterundertheac-tionofthewavescanpresentthreetypesofmotion,i.e.significantstratification,fragilestratificationandstrongmixing.Themotionofturbidwaterpresentssignificantstratificationwhen（H/D）/△ρ/ρ1/2≤4.5,generallythisstateisknownasdensitycurrent.Theformulasofmotionvelocity,thickness,anddischargeofdensitycurrentmovingonhorizontalbottomarederivedbyuseofba-sicequationssuchasmomemtumequation,equationofenergyconservationandcontinuityequationoffluid.Thetime-averagevelocityandthethicknessofdensitycurrentundertheactionofwaveshavearela-tionshipwithsuchparametersasrelativedensity（△ρ/ρ）,waveheight（H）,andwaterdepth（D）.Whentheseparametersaredetermined,thetime-averagethicknessandmotionvelocityofdensitycurrentareal-sodetermined.Therelat
