简介:Inviewofthemajordefectofthetraditionalteachercorrection,thispaperintroducesanewap-proachtoerrorcorrection—grouperrorcorrection,inwhichlearners’roleinlearninglanguageisgreatlyin-creased.Grouperrorcorrectioncanbeusedtocorrecterrorsinstudents’oralwork,groupworkandwrittenwork,bothinclassandafterclass.Halfayear’spracticeofgrouperrorcorrectionshowsthatithelpsincreaselearnerinvolvementintheteachingandlearn-ingprocess,stimulatelearnermotivationinlearningtheforeignlanguage,raisethelearners’awarenessoferrors,facilitatelearners’learningoftheforeignlan-guage,relievetheteacher’sburden,andhelpstheteachermakebetterteachingplans.Errorcorrectionisanenormouslycomplexpro-cess(Ellis,1994,p585).Asforwhichisthemostef-fectivemethodtocorrecterrors,researchershavenotreachedanagreement.Thereforemoreeffortsneedtobemadeinthisfield.
