  • 简介:ThesurvivalanddevelopmentofSMEs(smallandmediumenterprises)isanimportantissuefortheChineseeconomy.Inparticular,businesssuccessioninSMEsisapersistentissue.Businesssuccessioninvolvesselectionofasuccessor,assetinheritance,transferofmanagementrights,accumulationofbusinessconnectionsandtechnologysuccession,andsoforth.Thisallrequiressmoothexecutionofabusinesssuccessionplan.However,manySMEsdonothaveabusinesssuccessionplan,noraretheypreparingone.Ourtaskistoexplorethereasonsthesepreparationsarenotbeingmade.Here,thepurposeofourresearchistogetapictureofthestatusofpreparationsforbusinesssuccessioninSMEsinChina,andtheactualcircumstancesofsuccession,basedontheresultsofafact-findingsurveyofChineseSMEs,andatthesametimebringtothesurfacetheprimaryfactorswhichinfluencepreparationsandplans.Theresultsoftheanalysisshedlightonthestatusofbusinesssuccessionpreparations,successor’sawarenessofissues,decisionmaking,andsoon.Thissurveyhighlightstheawarenessofbusinesssuccessionamongbusinessmanagers.

  • 简介:Nowadaysinternationalizationisnolongeraluxuryforcompaniesandbecomesanecessityinordertosurviveinthemarketandensureitsdurabilityovertime.Thisjustifiesthestructureofainternationalizationplan(IP)forasmallcompany(SEC),inordertomodifyitsvaluecurveagainstthecompetitionandguaranteeasustainedgrowthdevelopmentinnewmarkets.Thispaperpresentsastrategicanalysisofasmallconstructioncompanydedicatedtotheelaborationoffinishesforwalls,floors,andconcretearchitecture.Asituationalanalysiswascarriedouttoseewhatwouldbethemostappropriateinternationalstrategyforthecompany.Tools,suchas:(a)SWOT(strengths,weaknesses,opportunities,threats)Analysis,(b)PEST(political,economic,social,andtechnological)Analysis,(c)InternalFactorsEvaluationMatrix(IFE),and(d)ExternalFactorsEvaluationMatrix(EFEAssessmentMatrix),wereusedtoidentifythecurrentstandingoftheSEC.ThecanvasmodelandthecompetitiveprofilematrixwereusedtomaketheconnectionwiththestrategicpositionoftheSECagainstthedesireofinternationalization.Likewise,ananalysisoftheexternalfactorswascarriedoutshowingasignificantgrowthof4.6%inthespecializedsub-sector,aswellasatensebusinesslandscapedrivenbythepoliticalsituationbetweenMexicoandtheUnitedStates.
