简介:SetastheprimaryandultimategoaloflanguageteachingprocessbyMacIntyreetal.(1998),willingnesstocommunicateinsecondlanguage(L2WTC)hasbeenputmuchattentioninL2acquisitionfield.ThisstudyexaminedquantitativelythewillingnesstocommunicateinEnglishasaforeignlanguage(EFLWTC)inTibetancontextwithaquestionnaire.Tibetancollegestudents’EFLWTCwasfoundsignificantlylowerthanHanstudents.NosignificantdifferencewasfoundbetweenTibetanmaleandfemalestudentsintheirEFLWTC.Causeswereexploredandsomepedagogicalsuggestionsweremadeinthisstudy.
