摘要 Thenumericalinvestigationofregularwavesinteractingwithasubmergedhorizontaltwin-platebreakwaterispresentedinthispaper.Anumericalmodelwithanabsorbingwave-makerisestablishedbasedontheVOFmethod.Thevalidityofthemodelisverifiedbyexperimentalresults.Comparisonsbetweenthenumericalandexperimentalresultsshowthatboththewatersurfaceprofilesandthewave-inducedpressurescanbemodeledaccurately.Wavedeformationoverthebreakwater,waterparticlevelocitiesaroundthebreakwater,andthewave-inducedpressuresonthestructurearenumericallyinvestigated.Thepressureamplitudesofthefundamentalandsecondharmonicsonthemodelsurfaceareexaminedinvariouswaterdepths.Thecomputedandexperimentalresultshaverevealedthatthehigherfrequencycomponentsaregeneratedattheonshoresideofthebreakwater.Furthermore,thecomputedresultsdemonstrateacirculatingflowformedattheonshoresideofthebreakwater.
