Mechanism of laser-induced plasma shock wave evolution in air

摘要 Atheoreticalmodelisproposedtodescribethemechanismoflaser-inducedplasmashockwaveevolutioninair.Toverifythevalidityofthetheoreticalmodel,anopticalbeamdeflectiontechniqueisemployedtotracktheplasmashockwaveevolutionprocess.Thetheoreticalmodelandtheexperimentalsignalsarefoundtobeingoodagreementwitheachother.Itisshownthatthelaser-inducedplasmashockwaveundergoesformation,increaseanddecayprocesses;theincreaseandthedecayprocessesofthelaser-inducedplasmashockwaveresultfromtheoverlappingofthecompressionwaveandtherarefactionwave,respectively.Inaddition,thelaser-inducedplasmashockwavespeedandpressuredistributions,bothafunctionofdistance,arepresented.
