Inactivation of bovine immunodeficiency virus photodynamic therapy with HMME

摘要 Toinvestigatetheeffectofphotodynamictherapy(PDT)withhematoporphrinmonomethylether(HMME)onbovineimmunodeficiencyvirus(BIV)canprovidethebasistheoryforphotoinactivationofhumanimmunodeficiencyvirus(HIV).ToassesstheprotectionofHMME-PDTonthecelllineCf2ThinfectedwithBIVR29by3-(4,5)-dimethylthiahiazol-2-yl-3,5-di-phenytetrazoliumbromide(MTT)withpowerdensityof5and25mW/cm~2andenergydensityfrom0.6to3J/cm~2.ToobservetheinhibitionofmembranefusionusinganewreportercelllineBIVEbyfluorescencemicroscope.HMME-PDThassignificantprotectanteffectsonCf2Th-BIVR29withbothpowerdensities,especiallyinthegroupofhighpowerdensity.FluorescentmicroscopeshowsthatthereisnosignificantdifferencebetweenthegroupofPDTandcontrol,whichmeansPDTcouldnotinhibittheBIV-mediatedmembranefusion.
