摘要 ThelateMesozoictwogianteventsthathavesynchronouslyoccurredinthePacificandperipheryarethetectono-magmaticactivitiesoftheCircum-PacificmobilebeltandtheDarwinRise.TheirdynamicsanalysisindicatesthatthegeodynamicsresponsibleforPacificgenesishasbeendrivenbythegravityinstabilitybetweenaPacific-widesuperplumeheadanditslithosphericoverburdenundertheinfluenceofeastwardasthenosphericflowbytheEarthspin.TheworldwideactivationofmaficmagmatismwasinitiatedinthePaleozoicandclimaxedaroundtheJurassic.TheseparatednotworldwidedistributionofthemagmatismontheEarthsuggeststheinhomogeneousreheatingofuppermantle,asrepresentedbythePacific-widesuperplumehead.ThePhanerozoicreheatingthusputforwardtheEarthhistoryintoanewgeotectonicstage,i.e.,thediwastage.
