Numerical simulation of rock progressive failure on samples with a pre-existed weak zone during brittle failure*

摘要 Consideringtheheterogeneityofgeomechanicalmaterials,seismicityduringbrittlerockfailureundercompressiveloadingonthesamplewithanoriginalweakzoneissimulatedbyusingrockfailureprocessanalysiscode(RFPA2D).Therun-throughprocessofweakzone,theformingofnewfaultandassociatedmicro-seismicitiesarestudied.Themodelingdemonstratesthetotalprocessofsourcedevelopmentofearthquakefromdeformation,micro-failuretocollapseandthebehavioroftemporal-spatialdistributionofmicro-seismicities.Thestress,strainandthetemporal-spatialdistributionofmicro-seismicitieslife-likelyportrayedthephenomenaoflocalizationandtemporal-spatialtransitions,whichissimilartothoseobservedinourrealcrust.Also,theresultsobtainedinsimulationsareinagreementwithorsimilartothereportedexperimentalobservations.
