InthispaperweestablisharesultaboutuniformlyequivalentnormsandtheconvergenceofbestapproximantpairsontheunitaryballforafamilyofweightedLuxemburgnormswithnormalizedweightfunctionsdependingonε,whenε→0.ItisintroducedageneralconceptofPadeapproximantandwestudyitsrelationwiththebestlocalquasi-rationalapproximant.Wecharacterizethelimitoftheerrorforpolynomialapproximation.WealsoobtainanewconditionoveraweightfunctioninordertoobtaininequalitiesinLpnorm,whichplayanimportantroleinproblemsofweightedbestlocalLpapproximationinseveralvariables.
