摘要 ExperimentalautoimmuneencephalomyelitiscanbeinitiatedspontaneouslyanddevelopedprogressivelyinTCRtransgenicmicespecificformyelinbasicproteinwhenexposedtonon-sterileenvironment,thusmorecloselymimickinghumanmultiplesclerosis.Byintravenousadministrationofmyelinbasicprotein,wesucceededinrapidlyreversingtheclinicalandpathologicalsignsofprogressivespontaneousdiseaseinthesemice.ThemajorityoftransgenicTcellsofMBP-injectedmicewasdeleted,withdramaticallyincreasednumbersofapoptoticcells,inlymphnodesandspleen,butnotinthymus.Proliferativeresponsesofsingle
