Inrecentyears,theclinicalincidenceofthyroidcancerhasbeenincreasingyearbyyear,anditsriskassessmentandclinicalmanagementmethodshavealsobeenaccordinglymodifiedandconstantlyimproved.TherearegreatdifferencesbetweentheclinicaldiagnosticandtherapeuticmodesanddiseasemanagementofthyroidcanceremployedbyvariousmedicalinstitutionsinChina,particularlywithregardtotheclinicalapplicationofserummarkerofthyroidcancer.Tothisend,theChinaAnti-CancerAssociationThyroidCancerSpecializedCommitteeChineseAssociationofThyroidOncologyorganizedthiscompilationofExpertConsensusonClinicalApplicationofSerumMarkerofThyroidCancertohelpandimpelrelevantclinicalinstitutionsandprofessionalstostandardizeclinicaldiagnosis,treatment,andlong-termmanagementofthyroidcancer,andtoproperlyutilizetheserummarkerforscientificauxiliaryclinicaldiagnosisandassessmentofthyroidcancerbeforeandafteroperation.
