Numerical Study of Natural Convection on Horizontal Strips Embedded in an Vertical Adiabatic Substrate

摘要 Afullsolutionoftwo-dimensionalNavier-Stokesandenergyequationwasconductednumericallytoanalyzethenaturalconvectionofthehorizontalstripwithanadiabaticsubstrate.Themainfeaturesofsuchconvectionare:(i)theleadingandtrailingedgeeffect,(ii)thenon-boundarylayereffect,and(iii)thesideedgeeffect.Theresultsarecomparedwiththeboundarylayertheoryandexprimentaldata.
