摘要
ThisarticleprimarilydiscussestheissueofrealizingsustainabledevelopmentinShandongProvince,Chinathroughtransformation.ItcomparestheglobalenergystructuretoChina’s,aswellasamongregionsandprovinceswithinChina.ThearticletakessixcitiesinShandongProvinceastypicalobjectives,andthenusingprincipalcomponentanalysisitcalculatestheirflexibilityinregardtocityshiftandrestructuring.Themainpurposewastoquantifytheimpactofeconomicactivitiestriggeredbythecoalindustry,a.k.atheenergyeconomicnexus,andtoassesstheflexibilityandsustainabilityintransformationamongtheobservedcoal-basedcities.
