摘要
Inthispaper,quartzcrystalmicrobalance(QCM)gassensorscoatedwithpolyehtyleneimine(PEI)wasutilizedforcarbondioxide(CO2)detection.Thesensingmechanismisbasedontheavailabilityofreversibleacid-basereactionsbetweenCO2moleculesandPEIatroomtemperature.TheexperimentalresultsrevealedthatthePEI/starchsensorexhibitedmuchhighersensitivitythanthatofpurePEI,andshowedapproximatelinearityoveraconcentrationregionrangingfrom500ppmto8000ppm.Theinfluenceofhumidityhadalsobeeninvestigated.Furthermore,theresponseandrecoverytimedeceasedastheoperationtemperaturesincreased.Finally,sensitivitylossafterconservationforseveraldaysandreversibilityofthesensorshadbeendiscussed.
