Laser-polarization-dependent spontaneous emission of the zero phonon line from single nitrogen-vacancy center in diamond

摘要 Weinvestigatespontaneousemissionpropertiesandcontrolofthezerophononline(ZPL)fromadiamondnitrogen–vacancy(NV)centercoherentlydrivenbyasingleellipticallypolarizedcontrolfield.WeusetheSchr¨odingerequationtocalculatetheprobabilityamplitudesofthewavefunctionofthecoupledsystemandderiveanalyticalexpressionsofthespontaneousemissionspectra.Thenumericalresultsshowthatafewinterestingphenomenasuchasenhancement,narrowing,suppression,andquenchingoftheZPLspontaneousemissioncanberealizedbymodulatingthepolarizationdependentphase,theZeemanshift,andtheintensityofthecontrolfieldinoursystem.Inthedressed-statepictureofthecontrolfield,wefindthatmultiplespontaneouslygeneratedcoherencearisesduetothreeclose-lyingstatesdecayingtothesamestate.Theseresultsareusefulinrealexperiments.
