ON NUMERICAL TECHNIQUES IN CFD

摘要 NumericaltechniquesplayanimportantroleinCFD.Someofthemarereviewedinthispaper.ThenecessityofusinghighorderdifferenceschemeisdemonstratedforthestudyofhighReynoldsnumberviscousflow.Physicalguidelinesareprovidedfortheconstructionofthesehighorderschemes.Toavoidundulyadhoctreatmentintheboundaryregiontheuseofcompactschemeisrecommendedbecauseithasasmallstencilsizecomparedwiththetraditionalfinitedifferencescheme,BesidespreliminaryFourieranalysisshowsthecompactschemecanalsoyieldbetterspaceresolutionwhichmakesitmoresuitabletostudyflowwithmultiscalese.g.turbulence.Otherapproachessuchasperturbationmethodandfinitespectralmethodarealsoemphasized.Typicalnumericalsimulationswerecarriedout.ThefirstdealswithEulerequationstoshowitscapabilitiestocaptureflowdiscontinuity.TheseconddealswithNavier-Stokesequationsstudyingtheevolutionofamixinglayer,thepertinentstructuresatdifferenttimesareshown.Asymmetricbreakdownoccursandalsotheappearanceofsmallvortices.
