OSNR-aware lightpath provisioning in distributed optical network-中国期刊网

摘要 Anopticalsignal-to-noiseratio(OSNR)awarelightpathprovisioningmechanism(OSNR-LPM)isproposedfordistributedopticalnetworks.ThisOSNR-LPMtakestheOSNRvalueofthelightwavealongthelightpathintoconsiderationwhenestablishingthelightpathfortheconnectionrequestusingresourcereservationprotocol-trafficengineering(RSVP-TE).Moreover,theOSNR-LPMmakesfulladvantagesoftheOSNRmonitoringfunctionineachnodeandassignsthelightwavebyjudgingtheOSNRvaluecarriedbythesignalingmessageinordertoguaranteethereliableestablishmentofthelightpathinthedataplane.ThesimulationresultsshowthattheOSNR-LPMoutperformsotherlightpathassignmentmechanismsintermsofrealblockingprobabilityinthedataplane.
