Experimental determination of the critical welding speed in high speed MAG welding-中国期刊网

摘要 InhighspeedMAGweldingprocess,someweldformationdefectsmaybeencountered.Togetgoodweldquality,thecriticalweldingspeedbeyondwhichhumpingorundercuttingweldbeadcanoccurmustbeknownfordifferentconditions.Inthisresearch,highspeedMAGweldingtestswerecarriedouttocheckouttheeffectsofdifferentfactorsonthecriticalweldingspeed.ThroughobservingtheweldbeadprofilesandthemacrographsofthetransversesectionsofMAGwelds,theoccurrencetendencyofhumpingweldwasanalyzed,andthevaluesofcriticalweldingspeedweredeterminedunderdifferentlevelsofweldingcurrentorvoltage,andtheeffectofshieldinggascompositionsonthecriticalweldingspeedwasalsoinvestigated.
