摘要
Odonatalarvaeandadultswerecollectedfromfourteensitesofvarioushabitatsincludingrivers,ricefields,mountainstreams,freshwaterandpeatswamps,oilpalm,sugarcaneandrubberplantationsandlake.Outof51speciesrecorded,Libellulidaemadeupthemostdominantof10familiesfollowedbyGomphidaeandCoenagrionidae.Otherfamilieswerelesscommon.Riverineandstreamecosystemswerethemostdiverse,bothwithsixfamiliesand19and13speciesrespectively.Inthericefields,LibellulidaeandCoenagrionidaewererepresentedby17andsevenspeciesrespectively.ThepoorestfaunaofOdonatawasrecordedfromalakesystem.Afewoflibellulidswerefoundtobepollutiontolerantandwidespreadindistribution.Manyodonatespecieswererestrictedtopreferredhabitatsorwaterparametergradientsthatcouldbeusedasbioindicatorsofrespectivehabitatsorparameters.
