TheCMSgroupsintheUSAareactivelyinvolvedinseveralgrid-elatedprojects,includingtheDoE-fundedParticlePhysicsDataGrid(PPDG)andtheNSFfundedGridPhysicsNetwork(GriPhyN).Wepresentdevelopmentsof:theGriddataManagementPilot(GDMP)software;aJavaAnalysisStudio-basedprototyperemoteanalysisserviceforCMSdata;toolsforautomatingjobsubmissionschemesforlargescaledistributedsimulationandreconstructionrunsforCMS;modelinganddevelopmentofjobschedulingschemesusingtheMONARCtoolkit;arobustexecutionservicefordistributedprocessors.ThedeploymentanduseofthesetoolsatprototypeTier1andTier2computingcentersintheUSAisdescribed.
