摘要 Anumericalmethodofsolvingacousticwavescatteringpnbleminfluidsisdescribed.Radiationboundarycondition(RBC)obtainedbyfactorizationmethodofHelmholtzequationisappliedtotransformingtheexteriorboundaryvalueprobleminunboundedregionintooneinafiniteregion.CombinedwithRBCandscatterersurfaceboundarycondition,Helmholtzequationissolvednumericallybythefinitedifferencemethod.ComputationalresultsforsphereandprolatespheroidalscatterersareinexcellentagreementwitheigenfunctionsolutionsandmuchbetterthantheresultsofOSRCmethod.
