摘要
WeproposethegenerationofphotonicEPRstatefromquadraticwaveguidearray.Boththepropagationconstantandthenonlinearityinthearrayaredesignedtopossessaperiodicalmodulationalongthepropagationdirection.Thisensuresthatthephotonpairscanbegeneratedefficientlythroughthequasi-phase-matchingspontaneousparametricdownconversionbyholdingthespatialEPRentanglementinthefashionofcorrelatedpositionandanticorrelatedmomentum.TheSchmidtnumberwhichdenotesthedegreeofEPRentanglementiscalculatedanditcanapproachahighvaluewhenthenumberofilluminatedwaveguidechannelsandthelengthofthewaveguidearrayareproperlychosen.Theseresultssuggestthequadraticwaveguidearrayasacompactplatformforengineeringphotonicquantumstatesinahigh-dimensionalHilbertspace.
